Tein FLEX experts/users...i need some help...
Ok so after going back and forth between the tanabe sustecs and the tein flex's i went ahead and ordered the flex's for my ej coupe. NOW i'm a little confused aBOUT THE adjustment of these. i think i got it figured out but i wanna here from u experts/users of the flex. ok so i adjust the ride height using the springs (locking them with the upper 2 perches). then i lower the shock body accordingly (im assuming the same amount?) now i very well could be wrong..but this is what i got from a post on here from searching...please help me out here...i wanna have this figured out before my kit arrives. also what exactly is spring preload...and how do u preload ur springs...ive seen that quite a few times also...the tanabes had "helper spring" to "eliminate the need for preloading"

No, just jack up the car, take off wheel and adjust

Well, I only remember turning the shock body without taking off of the control arms. I haven't looked at my Teins for awhile so I don't really remember, LOL. If you do decide to adjust the spring load that you have someone who knows what they are doing. Not I think, or I kind of know, but professionally know how to adjust the spring perches.
