So where can you get the needed parts to do this any radio shack place have these parts? Or should I not try this if I dont' know that question.
I'd send a ecu to get chipped but damn customs kills time and I need my auto p28 chipped to stock manuel like yesterday.

just tried link, and didn't work for me, I have the chip, and need directions to install, or for my pops to put in for me, I'm comfortable with soldering, but he's a former electric engineer, now orthopedic surgeon, so his hands are a little more steady.....
should I try link again later, or is there somewhere else I can get the info...

yes the kit can do it, but so can you as well, simply remove jumper RP17....voila no chip is required just cut it out...

Yeah I did it a week ago, I removed rp17 and replaced rp18 with a jumper wire (0ohm resistor) works like a charm!!!
