Default Tech question: stroking B16B

Stroking B16B to 1.8L using B18C SpecR crank...

I'm having a hard time finding out conrod specs; does anyone know if it's possible to use B16B conrods and pistons and just replace the crank?

Possible issues: head interference due to high piston dome and long conrods. But anyone have experience? Is this a total impossibility or can pistons just be swapped with lower-domed aftermarket pistons?

Cheers

stroking the B16B to 1.8... wouldnt that make it basically a B18C motor since the B16B is basically a destroked GSR motor with a different head??????

why? the b16b is a de-stroked b18c. its a great idea, you get the high rev capabilities of a b16b with the torque and power of a 1.8 liter.

The B16B is basically a destroked ITR motor with a slightly longer duration intake cam.

Normally, stroking it to 1.8L (making it basically identical to a B18C SpecR aka B18C5) would entail changing rods, pistons and ofcourse the B18CR crank. My question is how about keeping the B16B conrods and stroking?

To the other guy: maybe you'd like to make a constructive comment? i.e. maybe some reasons so you don't look ignorant...
