Default TECH QUESTION: Rear lower control arm Install?

We had to change out the whole rear lower control arm in the driver side. We installed it all perfectly. But i did put that hub cap back on. We drove and that rear wheel locked up, it had weird black, (oil looking), fluid everywhere with bits and peices of metal. It was very hot. Im confused on what happened. Were we suppost to grease the spindle. And if so how much grease and it did not say this anywhere in the helms manual. Also by the way the part we replaced was bran spaking new from the Dealer. PLEASE HELP

If you JUST replaced the Rear Lower control Arms, then the only possible fluid you were to use was anti seize on the LCA bolts. You should have only removed 3 bolts per LCA. If you did any more, then you didn't do the instal right. If you did install it right, then you shouldn't have touched the brakes at all unless youf F-up the ABS signel line that runs along the LCA.

LCA is the one that the shock attaches too. The Trailing arm is the peice that attaches to the brakes and wheel, and the upper control arm is how you adjust camber (in a nut shell) If you replaced the LCA, then you didn't touch the brakes at all
