Tech: Keep AC in EK B18c1?? What are the choises??
Hey i am wondering if i am correct about ways to keep your ac with a b18c in an EK.
1. Use del sol vtec compressor bracket, stock lines, stock compressor.
2. Use Stock GSR bracket, Civic si lines, b series ac compressor. (will my stock lines fit????)
are these correct and the only ways to retain ac in an EK with B18c or B16?

if you don't know what you're talking about then don't say a damn word. What, is he going to use two bolts to hold the compressor on? Superglue? Hopes and dreams? comments like this only serve to misinform others creating more people that look like assclowns......
Del Sol vtec bracket will be the cheapest method.

see the thing is, i think my compressor might be messed up. Its been a while since the AC was out of my car. Could the internals of the compressor be messed up because of moisture?? Also all of my condensor and the hard lines are still in my car. Could those be ruined too. Or can it just be flushed out? Should i just find someone selling a whole AC setup?

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure you will only be able to use two of the mounting holes for the compressor. If you're going to get a new compressor, get the one for the mount u have, ie gsr. The lines will be ok, they're all the same size, but the compressors are different.

Del Sol AC Bracket: 38930-p54-000
Retain all your stock AC components.
Great link that should help you out.

Re: (Fred n J's_1.8's)
i know that way works. But i dont have any of the pieces yet. But i do have the stock gsr brcket. So it would be much cheaper to get an si compressor, and si lines. Instead of, a bracket, lines, and compressor. Do u guys get it. I need to know if this will work. Ive said this like 10 times.

Re: (stehigs321)
so what are thre recommended ways of doing it??
1. del sol vtec bracket, d series compressor, d- series lines.
2. gsr bracket, si lines, si compressor.
are these the only 2 easy ways to do it??
or can i use gsr bracket, si lines, si compressor??
or gsr bracket, gsr lines, gsr compressor??
will these work.
see the thing is i have a 96 civic with a b18c1 in it. I only have the gsr bracket. no other ac suff. I have everything except lines, and compressor. But i have the gsr bracket. What do i need to get to complete the ac setup while still using the gsr bracket??
