Default Tech Help needed Here

Whenever i drive my car in the rain, it becomes really hard to shift. Or when i go through a puddle the shifter becomes really hard to move around. Its hard to explain but i wanted to know if this is normal with honda engines. I have a swapped gsr in my 98 ex civic. And this only happens when its raining. It also happened once when i had my d16 still in my car. And it goes away once i let the car sit for 5 mins or when it drys up outside.

It only makes sense that it is not your motor and tranny. I would blame the shift linkage and more closely the shifter itself. Put the car in the air and check it out, I have seen weirder things.
