cant seem to get my honda tdc because the distibutor seems to be 180 degrees out of wack . I tried turning the pulley 360 degrees as instructed in the haynes manual. Still no luck. And the manual says, the no 1 spark plug wire has a raised letter on it. Cant seem to get it lined up. I looked at another honda like mine 92 cx and i can not seem to get the raised letter aligned in that position.

Take off the timing belt cover, and look at the cam gear from the driver's side. Turn the crankshaft counterclockwise until the two dashes line up horizontally with the head and the writing "UP" is pointing directly up. Now you're at TDC.

Are you having issues putting the engine to TDC, or having issues getting your ignition timing? Or are you having issues even getting spark?
