Default tb question

i have a d16y8 with a skunk 2 im, i was wonder if a b16a throttle body would bolt up to that? probably a stupid question, but i need to know before i buy.... thnx

Searching would have told you - Yes, it will fit [all d and b tb's share the same pattern]
(use a b16 tb gasket)

hopefully the manifold inlet is large enough to make it worth anything.

....or that you're actually pulling enough air past your old TB to cause a pressure drop. Otherwise, if the old one wasn't a restriction, what does the new one buy you?

i dont know im gonna pick up the tb as soon as my buddy gets his new one. when i do this how would i know when a pressure drop occurs? is there a way to test this?

Yes...there is a gauge available that measures pressure...and the lack of it.
