Opinion polls do not belong in a tech forum.

Indirectly asking a question about his car. His car has to do with Tech, therefore mr. forum officer your statement is not valid. Try again

"I have money. What do you think I should spend it on?" Is not tech on any planet.

An opinion poll is indirectly asking multiple people what he can do to further the process in his car. Regardless oh how it tickles you sideways, it is a question about the tech. part's of his car. We all know someday you want to be a super mod on a forum site so you can punish people for asking question's you don't like. As for now, this is an appropriate question, deal with it.

Been offered mod. Didn't want it.
A tech question looks like "My car won't start and I have no spark. What could be the issue?"

This isn't a chat room.

It amazes me how someone can simply be proved wrong, yet they still keep going. It's as simple as i put it. I'll shorten it and dumb it down for you a bit. His car has to do with Tech. am i right? An opinion poll is "IN-DIRECTLY" asking a question. You learned this in 3rd grade English, now pay attention. You put two and two together. HEY!, it's a tech question. Another star on the board for you.

No. His car is not tech. If that were the case I could simply say "I have a Honda Civic" and according to you it would qualify as a tech question.

That was a tech question.
Oh sorry, his car must be made out of sponge. No technical stuff in that at all.

All I have to say is do not swap to an LS. To me that would be pointless. Ls and B20 are not worth the time or money unless you build them with a Vtec head. IMHO.

I'll start off with, DO NOT, i'll repeat again to make sure, DO NOT take this as an insult to your knowledge. There is a chance that he might want to to do it for MPG or for good endurance in. I've helped build a few ls builds in hatches and coupes, and they usually range from 30-35 in city, and 40-45 freeway, highest I've seen is 52. So i mean it's not all that bad of a swap if it's going to be daily'd, just a thought.

True didn't think of that actually. I'm just use to people wanting to swap for more power and I was just saying it wouldn't be worth it. But in that case an LS would not be bad for a daily.

Thank god some faith in humanity, someone that agreed and didn't start an arguement , but yeah i know what you mean. But hey, there is a video on youtube of a Sleeved ls v-tec doing 7-8 second 1/4 miles! **** i'm not arguing with that! probably a FORTUNE but fast as **** xD

Now you get it! He didn't list any of his criteria other than wanting to go fast with a $2,000. Until he lists those goals only then will this be a tech thread and no one offering up any suggestions prior to that happening is giving any real informed recommendations.

Listen, I've explained this 3 times to you and you still have yet showed me any level of intelligence from you. I'm not going to repeat myself again. After you turn you ******* ignorance and stubbornness into even a SLIGHT amount of sophistication. Just shut the **** up. All your doing is trying to be a forum officer, and your doing a terrible job at it. It's people like you that make community forum sites a bad name. Now go back to your mother's basement and continue on with your life, or what's left of it.

Not trying to show YOU anything. The OP needs to make this a real tech thread by asking a technical question and not a referendum on how to spend a tax return.

And what's with the personal attacks and name calling? Noobs. Always noobs with this juvenile nonsense. For once I'd like to see one of you participate in a real tech thread instead of commenting on what someone's car looks like. Stop attacking me in every thread you can find. If you think I'm out of line, report the thread!

When you speak, i face-palm so hard i get a concussion. There is nobody on the face of the earth that i have spoken to, that has showed me so much sheer stupidity that i truly believe that my I.q. has dropped trying to comprehend the ignorance. You are not even worth my time and day, from this point on i'm not reply to you anymore, it's just a headache. For **** sakes, get some ******* fresh air in your basement, then maybe you will be calm enough to understand that he indirectly asked a question and it upset to know that you were proven wrong. Have a good day

In my advice, i would either go with a GSR for power, or an ls for daily. It all depends on what you are looking for? A street powered monster? a track destroyer? a drag dominator? a Daily cruiser?

Which B16 is that?

You need to be careful with that because putting an older engine in the car is illegal. it defiantly wont fly in California.

You can put ANY motor in ANY car, just depends on the person inspecting it (;

perfect, so tell him to brake the law. which could get his car impounded, and him into some deep ****.

This is taken straight from the EPA guidelines.

such a replacement is legal only if the resulting engine-chassis configuration
is equivalent to a certified configuration of the same model year or newer as the chassis.
