I used a wood chisel, and a hammer...some of the stuff would peel right off, and some would have to be chiseled. Took me about 3 hours to do my whole car- 94 Si, whch has the most materiel. Some guys use dry ice or heat guns

I did mine in the middle of winter (Here in NJ it gets cold). I also used the afformentioned method of a chisel and hammer...

I beleive it is not illegal to get dry ice. If you have a hook up with someone who gets that stuff in bulk items it would be nice. Otherwise the best way is to way to wait until 1:00pm when it feels like 103 degrees out there and start chizzling away.

Don't tell us we need serious help. If you don't like the idea, then don't post. Personally I could care less what you think about it so as far as I'm concerned your opinion is unwanted.

its an additive process, do you really think an intake or exhaust alone make your car faster? it all adds up

WHY the hell would you (people) do this. you guys love the sound of road noise??? or just to be lighter. If you guys are removing this stuff to be lighter/faster... you guys need serious help!
Weight reduction is very important when trying to make a fast vehicle. Sure buying expensive aftermarket parts to make your car faster is great, however to a degree, the same result can be achieved by making your car lighter and better able to take advantage of the power it already has. If you get power adding aftermarket parts as well as reducing overall weight, the benefits should be obvious

It depends on the trim. EX/Si's have a ton of it.

I do it for two reasons. A smooth repainted floor is freaking dope. And you don't see any race cars with tar. No really because the stuff heats up and ruins all it touches in the summer.
Werd, interior looks better gutted with no tar, then gutted with tar.

Not really, I refer to that car and a few 11 second streetable Hondas when anyone deems it necessary to diss on Hondas and weight reduction.

thanks! dick... and keep up the good work.
Now let's work on your capitalization skills.
When starting a sentence, use a capital letter.

Shawn

(geez, it would be good to be insulted by somebody with an IQ higher than a rock once in a while, at least then it would be interesting)

P.S. "Stay in SKOOL, homie. Wassup."
