Taking Off Valve Cover....
Is there any precautions on a d16y8?
Also any precautions on putting it back on?
How hard is it?
I ask just to make sure anything does not go wrong.
It's kind of like lowering your car and finding out you can't due to seized bolts in the rear LCAs.

pretty easy.. remove the bolts on top.. lift it off.. you may have to remove a few hoses on the back side.. make sure that the rubber gasket has a good seal.. and becarful when pulling it off so u dont rip the gasket apart.. when you put it back on i always wipe the edge where the gasket sits off with a rag so it seals better..

Make sure you don't over tighten the bolts. Look up the torque specs if you're not sure. They don't take a lot of torque.

It's suggested that you change the gasket every time you remove it... If it's your first time on an old engine I'd suggest picking up a new gasket set, it comes with all the **** you need. I'm pretty sure it's like 20 bucks at AAP or AutoZone.
