Default Taking off Power Steering

my bro said the best way to get power for no money is to take off the power steering. when i do this will it be easy to get it back on?

And it doesn't take much to get the 20 pounds of hardware off either

If you decide to take off the pump just make sure those lines are sealed off. Do not contaminate the fluid.

Two 12mm bolts and the adjuster bammo belt off.

dont u need a manual steering rack? i heard otyherwise it is too had to steer even when driving at reg. speeds

no it's not too hard, but it can be a pain. if you plan on doing this for extended periods of time, I'd recommend a manual rack.

i just recently removed my AC from my SOHC i weighed everything i lost 24.6 lbs and i have no idea how much power i gained. Not alot but it pulls a lil harder here and there. took about a hour and a half being really gentle with all the lines. Its a good way to clean up the engine bay too
