Well my friend bought an EG about a month ago, and just today we were trying to install some new shocks when we got stuck. I had never saw the car before, but now I saw that the he had extended studs with normal lugs . These studs are really damn long, I mean like 3 inches and maybe more past the end of the lug. I was wondering how we'd take them off? I looked around for deep sockets, but nothing comes close. Any ideas?

your gonna need either a special key for the lugs, or a really really deep socket

naw the really really deep sockets arent long enough, youll need the really really really deep sockets...jp, but there should be a special key that came with the lugnuts, did he get it when he bought the car, otherwise he might have to go and buy the same lugnuts again so he can get the key

Did you try using a box wrench? This will work only if the nuts are not so deep into the rims.
