Listen to EK forever guy .... its true its true
i believe it also states blue and red "in Front" are for emergency vehicles only. I once switched my ambers and reds in the back and got a ticket for that . "double filiments are great"

It depends on if your talking about the front or rear turn signals. In the rear amber and red are okay, white is not. In the front I think it has to be amber but you can probably get away with white. No blue though.

Re: (AntiochOG)
my taillight turn signal bulb is white and i've been pulled over at least 15times after i installed it (stopped for other reasons of course) and never had a problem. i had it on for almost 2 years now and no probelms ever since.
With my M3 side mirrors i got stopped for having them as blue and was given a 72hour warning to change them to amber or else its a $110 ticket. I had them installed for 3 days before getting pulled over.

There aren't any rules about your mirros I don't think. I'll have to look.

Only amber in the front, at night with your headlights on no one can differentiate between bright headlights and more white/blue.

well here in ottawa there is, the cop said to me that it was for snow removal vehicles that can have a blinking blue light and hit me up with a ticket.

you're most probably right. I bet it varies state to state.
I know mercedes/bmw's have them built in, but I'm sure they all blink amber.
It they point forward and blink blue I would think any cop could write you for impersonating a police officer.

It's dumb that there is debate about this..when has blue blinking or blue lights in general ever been legal anywhere?!??
The only white lights you can have on the rear of your behicle are your reverse lights...you must have reflectors on the front and rear and you can only have amber turn signals or reflectors on the front, no white...
the rear turn signals must be either red or amber and must have a reflector as well.

It depends on the laws for your state; more than likely it is illegal. In my state (Washington) the law states that your turn signals need to be red or amber.

Who cares about the 'rice' to nice ratio; it's their cars; they probably like it. My buddy who lives in Bothell got pulled over for having white turn signals.

In most states, red turn signals are legal.

The best way to find out if they are illegal/legal is to check the laws for your specific county.

Yes, because we all know that AutoZone is the place to turn to for questions regarding motor vehicle laws.
In the rear, red turn signals are fine. In the front, they are not.
Blue is generally unacceptable in front or rear, as it is reserved for emergency vehicle usage.
