tack ANOTHER one onto the list....
my car, as of 10:30pm tonight was stolen from the bowling alley in Vernon, CT. A red 1992 Civic CX with a crooked Option2 sticker on the rear bumper (please don't flame). It has/had a 1999 GSR motor in it and GSR black cloth seats. The only other exterior mod i can think of (visible on the outside) is the 5Zigen fireball muffler.
I don't know why i'm posting this here, maybe someone on here knows someone else.....i don't know. Maybe this is my way of getting it off of my chest
If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know!

My friend had his car stolen last year, and after it was recovered he wanted to buy it back from the insurance company but they would NOT allow it. They said there's a policy where they are NOT allowed to sell back stolen cars to the rightful owners. Just thought I'd put that tid-bit of info out there (like it means anything now).

Really, really sorry to hear it.
I sure would like to buy some kind of vehicle protection that would put out a knock out gas and instantly drop the thief. Of course that way you can put him in front of your car and run his a** over.
Does anyone have a great idea to curb this crap? A suggestion for vehicle protection? Automatic cut-off or something cuase this sucks!

F**k! If I ever catch someone trying to steal my hatch I'm going to kill them. This has made my mind up. I've read 3 threads since yesterday in this forum about cars being stolen in the last couple days. I have a CCW permit and I'm going to put it to use. I'm buying a f**kin' gun! God help the person I catch trying to steal my ride

I'm in Connecticut and you know from what I know Vernon isn't even really a high crime area like New Haven or where I'm near Waterbury. Sorry man

you wanna laugh?! in the 5th gen civics, underneath the hood in the wiring harness there's a plug that is removable on the driver's side on top of the shock tower. then car CANNOT be started without that plug. wherever i go, mall, home, etc. that plug comes with me. last night when i pulled into the parking lot there was a group of kids sitting by the spot i was parked in. so i thought it'd be better to come back outside in a few minutes so they wouldn't see me pull the plug out. ( me for forgetting to even come back outside)
Im from Simsbury, CT, and Im surpised to hear that you got hit in Vernon.. is it common where you are from? You never here about it up north except in Hartford.
BTW, what plug are you talking about? Do you have any pics? I've got a swapped in b16 and I know the wiring is a bit different so would this still work? Seriously, I think you'd be doing a lot of us a favor if you could illustrate what you are talking about. Thanks a lot.
