Tachometer and Engine Speed is acting werid...
Hi!
So I have a problem: I drive a 1997 Civic HX with CVT, so when i start up the car, and begin driving, i notice the tachometer fluctuates/ it moves up and down, like the engine is struggling, or the engine speed isn't holding at all. I could hear my engine (its a D16y5) noise going up and down. After a few minutes, it stop doing it, but when i got on the freeway with 3 passenger, a trunk-full of stuff, when i accelerate, it struggles instead if having power at all engine speeds. a day earlier (before the trunk-full drive) i drove with 6 ppl in a 2 door coupe..it was fine.
So any help?

MAF=Mass Air Flow (sensor)
IM=Intake manifold.
These get very dirty and need to be cleaned periodically. use a can of seafoam perhaps.
