Default Tacho TCS and CEL not working after JDM SIR manual swap?

Greetings from sunny England! I thought this would be the best place to find the solution to my problem, so here goes.

I have just completed an auto to manual swap on my JDM 92 EG6 SIR (thanks to all those who posted guides on here, would not have been able to do it without you guys!) and have run into a little problem.

After doing the shifter wires my rev counter, traction control and check engine light no longer function. I think i might of accidentally shorted some wires in the auto shifter harness as i heard the familliar sound of a fuse popping from behind the dash. All fuses in the main interior fuse box are fine, could there be something else behind the dash that could have blown to cause these symptons?

I have tried several different P30 ECU's but nothing seems to help.

Thanks in advance for any help.

West.

they did come with traction control, but seeing that the OP went from auto to manual, i'm thinking his auto tranny is the one with the traction control and the manual tranny he just installed doesn't have it (the tranny itself), this is why it's not working.

Thanks for your suggestions,
an update for you.

Changed a fuse and put the original jdm auto p30 ecu back in and traction control and rev counter are now back! Permanent cel now as expected though, seems like the tcs is built into the ecu, but it's a bit weird how the tacho wouldnt work with two different P30 ecu's. Looks like i'll have to find a manual tcs equipped ecu, or get this one chipped.

Do you detect a tach signal on the distributor blue wire?
