Is the tach lead on 5G HB's still blue? I know it is on 4G's....trying to hook up a tach!

Is the tach lead on 5G HB's still blue? I know it is on 4G's....trying to hook up a tach!
Do i need to tap into the blue lead coming out of the cluster? And what color wire is going to be 12V ignition switched?, and then also the 12V dash lighting? I did a search but didn't come up with anything. I don't want to rig all these to the fuse panel unless i have to 
any and all help appreciated 
also, is a 92 HB (with LS swap) a '2pulse' or a '1pulse' system? Cuz i have to cut some wires depending on what it is

I'm not to sure about inside the dash, but out in the engine bay, on the driver's side by the hood prop and DRL module there is a single plug with a blue wire running from it. It's the tach diagnostic port, and you can then use that and run the signal wire into the cabin.

Is this a monster tach? Cuz I have one sitting here...but it seems TOO big to fit along side of the Apillar. Any pics of ur install when ur done?

It is usually taped to the main harness.
Be surprised what you info you find in a Helms when it is in the bathroom.
