tach does not work
ive been looking all over this site for some info on tachs but the only thing i found was how to install a aftermarket tach ( the thread says nothing about the tach not working) . . . . . can someone help me. . . . i would really love to know where to start, i installed a si gauge cluster in my 92 cx eg and everything worked fine for about a month or 2, then like 2 weeks ago my tach started jumping around like crazy... .. now it doesnt work at all. i just installed a autometer tach today because i thought maybe the stock tach took a crap on me but the autometer tach doesnt read any rpm's either!! could it be my ecu?? or my dizzy maybe??

i have the ground wire hooked up to a switch that is grounded to the frame.the positive ignition turn on lead is hooked up through the same switch , the white dash light wire is connected to my dimmer and the green tach wire is going directly to the blue wire thats connected to the dizzy.. .
