Just wondering if anyone has had experience with these.. any good? I'm thinking about getting a pair off eBay.
Also, what is the difference between 9003, 9004, 9005, 9006, 9007, ect? Any advantages? TIA

I have Sylvania Silverstars, and they are no where near as bright as HIDs. But they are a good fairly inexpensive upgrades from stock bulbs.

They have a fitment guide that will lists all the bulb sizes for your car.
Civics use H4 bulbs

Actually it's 9003, H4 will fit, but sylvania, doesn't mark H4 on their packages.

if you don't feel like getting them from ebay, try your local APC distributor (autozone). last time i stopped in they had them in their 2fast and crappier display. you could also pick up some tizzite neons while you're there.

I have some, they were a drastic improvement over stock and not blue at all. A nice semi-white with much better light.

**** off riceboy You seem to know an awful lot about 2F2F..
BTW I dont even have AutoZone here in Maine.. I dont think.. I'm pretty sure the only automotive store we have is V.I.P. The only other place you can get ANYTHING (yes, even things like tires and windsheild wipers) would be sears. Sucks to live in Maine

Don't worry my son just the other day while in Wal Mart, I know you have Wal Mart up there, I saw them selling a 2 pack of Silverstar bulbs for $47.95 which is a bit cheaper then the $25 each I see at most auto parts stores. So check your local Wallys and you might find them there.

no, they use h4's or 9003, i just got a set the other day from auto zone, and it cost me 40 dollars plus tax, but they are excellent, they give almost a perfect pattern, the light is spread evenly, and they project like a silver/white beam, i will get pictures tomorrow of the light pattern, and you can see for yourself. but they are way better then oem's, and apc's lights. i had all of them, and if you want a blue tone to the light, get sylvania cool blues it will save you 20 dollars, and you might get the desired color.

Re: Sylvania Silverstar Fake HID lights (95EX)
I've had them before I replaced my old Philips HID bulbs. They are definitely whiter then the CoolBlue they sell. I don't know about the price but if you want something more brighter, it's worth it. But it's never as bright as the HID's. In fact that commercial is so fake, they are using real HID's to sell the halogens. Pretty dang obvious.

Re: (SkyeC)
i actually picked up a pair from autozone this week. have yet to drive at night, but i think they looked better in dim light, like the garage.!!! they were 19.99 each, and the stupid bitch at the counter gave me a mail-in-rebate for 10 dollars off from sylvania, for being 2fast, and 2brite, with my tizzite lightbulbs. yO> wErd Up!!!!
i hope they rock my world......
oh yeah, my wonderful wife threw away my receipt, so there goes my frickin ten bucks,.....homo-wife

Yeah H4 and 9003 are one and the same.
I had 9005-converted Silverstars in my Integra low beam projectors, they were alot whiter than stock. But nothing compares to HID, this is 4300K HID fully warmed up vs. a 9005 Silverstar.
