Switched to OBDI - car limping?
I have a freshly chipped P28 that I have a basemap burned for my b16a2. However for some reason my chip burner cannot seem to erase the chips, yet I can write to them. I am using Amtel 29c256 chips and a Willem EPROM burner.
The car starts up, and idles kinda of rough, and it almost dies. No CELs. If I give it gas it pretty much cuts out around 3K , and response is very poor. Hit the gas and the tach barely moves for about 1 second or so. (I am using 450cc injectors). I have a VAFC in but its set to 0 across the board (just got out of the hack). I think i have a bad chip/bad rom/ bad burn. I ordered some new EPROM chips, but they wont be in until Monday.
Is my VAFC screwing things up? My OBDII ECU runs the hack ok, but it runs too rich so i'd like to get this OBDI setup working. Any suggestions?
My basemap is at http://home.comcast.net/~kevin...4.bin
Any ideas? Thanks
