Default swaybars - 22mm rear/no front, or 24mm front?

Sorry if this has been answered somewhere. I have a 22mm rear bar on my 96 LX. Currently has no front bar. Would a 24mm bar in front cause it to understeer too much? I have AGX and H&R sport springs. Even on the hardest setting the front doesnt feel flat enough when turning. Just dont want to waste money if its not going to improve the handling. Thanks.

dont make ur car stiffer in the front. there really is no need for that big sway bar in the front and it would cause understeer. if u want a bigger one but not to big just get a like type r front sway bar or something

i'd start with the smallest possible honestly, it really depends on your driving style.

Huh? A type-r front sway bar is the biggest oem bar you can get. Adding even a 26mm front sway bar won't cause drastic understeer, especially with a rear bar of that size. In fact, that would probably make for an improved setup, but you would need SI front lower control arms to make that happen.

I'm not sure if the LX came with a front sway stock... I believe it should have, 19 mm or so, but the LX and EX share the same front LCAs so you can install a 19mm from an EX without swapping arms.

Well, the car has at best 60/40 weight distribution. To add a big 22mm bar in the back with anything smaller than 24mm up front will cause a lot of oversteer. I like oversteer a lot..but at that point, it's getting a little unbalanced.

Eibach sells a 26mm bar that will bolt right up to an EX LCA....or any 96+ LCA with swaybar holes (non Si LCAs...unless you get the Si bar).

The ITR bar is 24mm, IIRC. So is any 98 Integra bar (again, IIRC). It should bolt right on.
