Swaybar question from downunder
G'day(i know sounds very coloquial), but i have a query regarding to a civic type R swaybar. Ok at the moment i have a CTR swaybar, and i know i need to re-inforce the subframe. Which i will by doing sum welding(i know abt the beaks kit, but i dun think i could source that from where i am). But my main concern is with the LCA's. I know i need to change to another LCA, and i know the Si has the endlinks i need, but i also heard that the ITR also has the required LCA's which would fit my EG4. So i was wondering which one is better?? Bearing in mind i don't the same resources as the states and i can;t access sum of the after market products there for a reasonable price.
Thanks for any help

Re: Swaybar question from downunder (clemens)
for 5th gen civic, best choice would be gsr lca's and itr sway bar. if you can make a reinforcement similar to beak's, you'll be fine
Good swaybars - and require little/no rear component changes/modifications. Are there any good reasons people don't consider them?

Re: Swaybar question from downunder (shawnhayes)
you'll need lower control arms from an integra. 96+ rear civic lca's will not bolt onto an eg.
94+ integra's no problem
ITR rear lca's will bolt up, but you' will need new rear shocks. itr uses different shocks. not too many company's make shocks for an ITR, but you can also use shocks from an 87 crx si. i believe it's only 1 year the crx had rear lca's similar to the itr. not positive, but i know koni's shocks for the ITR are the same ones for the 87 crx si.
anyways hope i helped.
also regarding the beaks kit. i'm sure Wil could mail the kit to ya. not to hard.
anyways it really is up to you.
good luck.

Re: Swaybar question from downunder (Bumnah)
So if i bolt on the 94+ integra GSI LCA's then the CTR swaybar should have all the holes for the bolt on correct?
Is there a difference between the GSI LCA and the VTIR LCA??
hhmmmm not sure if the codes are the same in the states tho. Thanks
