Which sway bars for EK

I've got a 97 Civic EX on Tokico shocks (blues) with 2.5" drop on Intrax springs. It's rolling on 95 GSRs with 205/50-15 tires. It's a daily driver. I will soon be installing a camber kit on all four corners and getting 195/50 tires all around.

I'd like to get some suggestions on what sway bars would work best for my setup. I kinda regret going so low with the drop, but I guess I'll have to deal with it. My current setup has the front tires rubbing during sharp corners and u-turns. But the springs are staying on there unless I can find some used coilovers locally in San Diego.

he could do that.....but if he wants it to handle like the cars on rails go with my set up.....the only thing i hate about it is the rear endlink hits the exhaust....still trying to fix that problem

I've got a stock exhaust on the car at the moment. Does your problem occur with the stock exhaust or aftermarket? How do you think you can fix this problem?

I am running into the same problem with the endlinks hitting my Apexi WS2 exhaust, but it was doing that with the stock swaybar also. You can shave off the end of the endlink bolt, but you will never be able to remove the swaybar because it has to be taken off with the help of an allen wrench. If anyone knows how to fix this, I need to know also.

I love my Progress 22mm rear bar on my 97 Dx. It has really helped out in the handling dept. Also, the way it's mounted, you don't need to worry about subframe damage. From what I've heard, the stock front bar will be fine, however, I don't have one cause it;s a DX.

I got my Progress bar for $169 shipped from Tires.com

If you are wanting to spend the money i would go with the comptech TIE BAR, SWAY BAR KIT, i Know a person at autocross that has it on his Si and it works really well. If not and you want to go the cheaper way, I would go with a civic Si rear sway or if you can find one, a CTR rear sway. I like that set up HYBRIDHATCH92 has, sounds like a good way to go if sticking with oem honda parts. But be carefull if going the aftermarket way not to get to thick of a sway bar because it can rip out of it mounts and cause some damage to the car. definitly reinforce you mounting plates if you are going with aftermarket.

i just put the rear type r 21mm on my car and shit, it is stiff but feels really nice. It really wants to come out in corners if i let off the gas at all...other than that, it has improved the handling greatly and im planning on using the 99 si front as soon as i find one. i also havent had any problems with the beaks kit for the rear bar. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif for the beaks kit

good source for a 99-00 si front sway bar swap (LCAs, forks, bar, bolts) is http://www.importautosalvage.com (like $190ish for everything) https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

FYI CTR front bar & Si front bar are the same https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif don't go paying more $$$ because someone says its a civic type r sway bar https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Re: (justanotherbluesi)

I'm pretty sure I want to go the OEM route. I'll definitely have to check out ebay and importautosalvage for the front SI/CTR sway bar, but I think I'll hold off on the rear until I can find a clearance solution.

IS it bolt on ? Did you have to drill holes or replace anything ?
