Swaps for my 93 eg coupe
I know turbo can turn out cheaper and more power
i was planning on puttin a b16 gen 2 in my car and running 6-7psi on stock internals with a peakboost turbo kit
compression on this motor is like 10.2:0 or around that
my car right now has a D16Z6 thats the si motor for that year
it has 318,000KM on it, old as ****
if i got a newer d16z6 with, 40,000km or so, would this motor be better?
also planning on running 6-7 psi on stock internals but this motor is 9.2:0 compression or so
naturally, less power than the b16 but maybe better for a turbo?
im looking to get 200+ horse not a massive amount but if i had 230 240 i would be super happy
also, i would be considering stronger rods, valves and springs along with injectors, and fuel pump
a few more mods to be able to withstand 10psi
what should i do for best results?
also, i am 17, doing this swap by MYSELF so think of that
thanks braaah

B18C FTW!!
Swaps into EG's with ease.
Good starting point for power.
Easily achieve 230whp on stock internals.
That's my advice.
I am planning a B18C swap for my 93 hatch. Jackson Racing supercharger should put it around 230whp.
Reliable, easy to install, great for daily driving......
Oh, and no FMIC sticking out for thieves to see...(I know its a moot point but hey)
