Swapping SOHC auto for DOHC auto ?
I can't seem to phrase this question right to get search results...
I am considering scrapping the turbo kit for an automatic d16 setup only if I can do this.
How easy is it to swap in a B18 automatic setup into a sohc automatic engine bay ? Should the mounts line up the same or will I need to fabricate a different mount ?
I don't have access to a dohc auto civic or integra to check the physical differences.... has anyone done this before ?
advice or links would be great... I a just researching the possibilities right now as I am in teh process of rebuilding the car from a minor accident.

I searched for "auto swap" and narrowed it to just the '92-'00 section. There were a lot of threads about auto to manual swaps, but the right info was there too.

The motor mounts will all align, but the problem is that the tranny from the b-series will hit the frame on the side. What I did was I got a half-cut with the engine and frame (93 civic sirII), and I cut that section out of the donor car and welded it into my car, it has an indentation that give about an 1.5" more clearance, problem solved.
And if your gonna stick with the auto do yourself a BIG favor and upgrade the torque converter and have the gearing in the tranny upgraded by someone who builds auto race trannies, mine slams into gear so hard and fast I don't lose any speed and there is no lag in the response.
