how hard is it to change my 94 Si steering rack to a CX rack?? Do i just go to a junkyard and get the rack, then just swap out the racks??--or do i have to do anything special?

You will need the rack and the manual rack COLLAR, it is a little white plastic peice that sits between the rack and the boot on the fire wall. Also get the d bracket from the manul rack. It is real easy to do when the motor is out, but..... unbolt the castle nuts and mounting bolts, unbolt bolt on the shaft in the inside, lower rack, rotate shaft out, slide rack all the way to the left, lower right tie rod, and remove. Simple as that. (forgot to say remove lines) Also, the p/s harness will remain unplugged. you will get no cels. Hope this helps!

What is all this I hear about need to swap subframes when doing this power rack to manual rack swap??

the bolt holes that hold the rack to the crossmember are different and you really need the c/m to do this swap properly. You can kindof make it work without it but it is not the best way.
