Default Swapping my d16 into a gsr shell

Alright guys here's the deal. My 95 ex shell has so many problems I'm just about fed up with it. My reverse lights don't work, my radio doesn't work, there's a massive amount of surface rust from where the previous owner sanded it down and never primered it. No fender liners means all the salt, snow, and ice is packed against my door. Anyways, I found a gsr shell in my neighborhood for cheap. I'm wondering if I can swap my d16z6 into this gsr shell. The Honda genius from my car club tells me it should swap right in. He tells me the axles, engine mounts, the engine and tranny, the linkage, and the ecu will bolt right up. I'm wondering if this is true or if I'll have to do anything. Will the wiring harness snap right into the engine everywhere and if I'll have to mod or purchase anything extra. I've never done a swap before so this will be my first one and I want to go in knowing everything cause I need to have it done in about a weekend. Help??

Yes it will work. It's just like swapping the B18 in the civic. But the other way around.

What about the wiring? Thr mechanic I talked to said it's the same wiring?? I find that hard to believ for them being two different series engines, wouldn't you?

What year is this shell. As long as its a obd1 teg it will all be plug and play, Hell if you use your civic engine harness and the correct single com vtec ecu for the right obd you will be ok

it shouldnt be any problems as long u have a vtec harness it should works completely fine because all eg and dc are fully swappable under the hood full direct drop with no problems unless you made it a problem lmao

It's a 94 shell so it's obd 1. I took a look at it today and it does
t look like there's a complete harness there, just the plugs for the engine harness to plugg into
