swapping engine
Does anyone know if a turbocharged S2000 engine would fit in a Del Sol(with changes to the engine mounts)? And if it can fit could you make changes to the chassis so it is a rear wheel drive car?

when there money theres a way, theres a two motor tiburon! hachi rokus with s2000 motors and a eclipse powered rear wheel drive crx! but then again it's like the whole NSX ordeal....

there was a tube frame CRX at the Norwalk drags last weekend with an S2k motor mounted north/south driving some giant slicks on the rear. Pretty interesting.

I posted these pics a few days ago regarding something else, but Top Fuel in Japan has a mid-engined, RWD Del Sol powered by a B18CR making over 550hp and running 10's in the 1320...Here's the pics. Very insane car...but the dudes at Top Fuel are some insane Japanese tuners.
