Default swapping d16y8

i have a 98 civic ex coupe and i was either going to boost it or swap it but i have come to the conclusion that i am swapping it to a b18c and i was curious if that would be a goood enging to put in? i was leaning to put a turbo in it but in the end said f that

the d16y8 is usdm 96-00 civic ex us, canada 96-00 si

Ok thanks! Wut do u suggest I do as far as engine mods to my d16y8? I already have headers n full exhaust, cold air intake, short shifter n a stage 2 clutch! Wut do y'all think should b my next mod?

i have a y8 with stage 1 clutch pulleys exhaust and intake and im putting in a b16a2 so obviously i would tell you to swap it! i thought about turboing it but b-series is so much nicer!!! def. swap

ok b16a2 ima remember that! can most parts fit from a d16y8 to a b16a2? also do yall know how to take primer off the top of a vis carbon fiber hood? tha dummy i traded with primered a 700$ hood lol!

as for the hood take it to a body shop, it will most likely have to be sanded or its reuned.
