Default swapping D15B8 for a D16Y8

i am doing a motor swap in my 93 EG hatch. i am taking out the D15B8 and putting in a D16Y8. i know that because i am going from an obd1 motor to an obd2 motor that there will be plugs and something that i will not use and i also know that i need to swap my distributor over and get a p28 ecu. is there anything else that anyone can think of that i will need before i start putting the new motor in? thanks to anyone that wants to help

your swap will be a direct bolt-on. your cx dizzy will fit the y8 head. and this also might help...

And if you dont know a whole lot about wiring just get a jumper harness.

You wont need a jumper for going from OBD1 to OBD2, its pointless, youll just get CEL's for not having a crank angle sensor and only 1 Oxygen sensor. Stay OBD1. Running an OBD2 motor on an OBD1 car is perfectly fine.

Thanks for all the information. I have a few friends that have done many swaps and they are willing to help me do anything to this car. this is my first Honda. I usually drive a 2006 Saturn Ion Redline. But I bought this car to build and give to my brother when he turns 16. if anyone has any other helpful information i would appreciate it

might have to change the driverside engine mount bracket to the one from your d15b8 unless you have the y8 mount? not sure if both are staggered or not.

its a very easy swap. ive completed this same swap in less than 6 hours including the pull. if you have any problems, just search around, you'll find the answers in no time.
