1. Yes the water hoses behind the block that attach to heater and stuff will all work fine.

2. You might be fine with your stock throttle cable but it depends on what stay (the attachment bracket on the manifold) you use. If you have a Teg one probably won't work, use a 99-00 Si bracket.

3. Generally the RC injectors require the use of OBD1 injector clips or ones you can get from RC that fit also.

Correct me if I misunderstood but were you saying both the throttle cable bracket AND injector clips didn't fit, or just the injectors...

Also are you using a GSR head or B16?

I'm getting ready to drop a JDM B16 myself into my EK, it's replacing a stock B18B. I picked up the 00 Si throttle cable and bracket, as the Y7 cable does work but it's extra long and kind of unsightly.

Hope it all goes well for you. I was hoping to install mine this weekend too but the guy I bought my tranny from hasn't shipped it yet so looks like it'll have to get put off. If you run into anything while installing it let me know.

One more thing, have you swapped out the stock D-series radiator for the Si one? Because the radiator inlets on the D-version are smaller than the water pipes on the B-series motor and you might have a tough time getting a single-diameter hose to fit. The Si is the same core but has endtanks with larger necks to match the motor.

yea somebody told me to go with the del sol b16 radiator since it had the bigger inlets and was dual core..so i was going to wing it for now and use the stock d series until i can get my hands on a higher end radiator su ch as koyo or fluidyne

Hope it works for you, you'll have to get an adjustable clamp and crank on it pretty hard to make it seal up and not leak fluid all over...I picked up a used 00 Si stock radiator for $50, it's only single core but has worked fine for me. Maybe hunt one of those down, try Ebay or something...

I too have just done a b swap to my ek. I've made multiple threads on what I need. As for the radiator, you need the del sol vtec because it has bigger outlets and inlets. I just bought an oem si and it didn't work for me. It leaks. So I will buy an ebay alluminum that works for b series.

so any del sol vtec radiator should do the job then i guess...i could have sworn the 99-00 b16 single core would have worked since the outlets were bigger but i guess not..

No you are correct, the 99-00 Si does work, I am using it right now! That guy probably got one from the D-series Si not the B16 model. Either that or he got ripped off and was sent the wrong one. The 99-00 Si one DOES work. The main difference is that it is single core.

you should research "ebay b series radiators." Lots of people has had success with these. I'll be picking one up for at 80 bux and it'll work with my application as the nipples are 1.25 inches in diameter needed for b series swaps. Plus it's all aluminum which gives it that JDM blingage.
