swapping a b series into ek. questions about axles.
I think I have DA axles, almost certain. The guy I bought em from was using it on a 95 civic coupe the a hydro b16 tranny. I now have the axles and wanting to swap into my ek with a hydro gsr tranny. Will they work? I tried searching and nothing came up. Thanks.

the 90-93 int. shaft will not work in the b16 hydro tranny.

well I did some research and test fitting of my own. Looks like the DA int/shaft will NOT fit the hydro GSR tranny. I just test fitted the int/shaft into the tranny, the shaft actually does go in without any binding or grinding. The shaft just sticks out a lil more than it should.....
BUT! I recall somebody stating that the tranny oil seal MUST be replaced if using DA axles. With that in mind, I removed the driver side axle seal and the int/shaft sliped right in no problems with the 3 bolts to hold it to the block nicely lined up. Now, heres the option I was thinking of:
1. Replace the driver side axle seal (only if replacing it will work, need some confirmation)
2. Or, knock that seal in the casing a little more because there is a lot more room behind it.
What do you guys think?
