swappin b16 into my del sol what else do i need?
i've searched and couldn't get a clear answer at all, what do i need to swap this into my del sol, i keep finding things about an obd conversion because its an obd0 engine and i need an obd1 for some reason? i live in pennsylvania, so if anyone could help me out that'd be swell. also if i do have to switch my obd to 1 couldn't i just use an ecu obd0 to obd1 conversion harness? thank you.

dont bother with that. just save up and buy the 2nd gen b16 hich is obd-1 thats what you need and would be complete PnP

you could always convert the motor to obd1 and use your stock wireing harness, then you'd need an obd1 ecu also. if you have a p28 ecu you can chip it and use the p30 program

well, since its a OBD0 motor, you have to get a OBD1 dizzy, and switch the plugs on the alternator to OBD1, a DOHC VTEC shift linkage for a del sol. You have to get one for a DOHC sol cause no others are the same. A P30 ECU would work good, P61 from a 92-93 GSR, P72 from a 94-95 GSR, or a Chipped P28 ecu made for DOHC motors. Use the harness that is on your car, and you either have a SOHC vtec harness which will plug in or you will have to wire up Vtec if you have a del sol S model harness. A new rear engine mount for a DOHC sol, and if the back bracket is too short, using one from a GSR motor will work great. Anything else?
