Swapped trannys now no 4th or 5th gear?
1992 Civic Hatch Dx, Finally got around to switching trannys from the Dx to a Si (D16z6 Tranny). My old tranny grinded in idol, 1st, and 2nd so in between watching my newborn and working 50 hrs a week i got it in and all hooked up refilled it with 10w-30 since i dont really have much time to pick up some MTF. I took her out for a quick run down the road hitting about 5k, however when i was going into 4th, nothing went to 5th, nothing. It feels like its engaging but nothing, i have a new clutch, flywheel, throwout bearing, clutch slave and master cylinder in it. i got the tranny from a guy up in harrisburg for 120 and he said nothing was wrong with it, hopefully he was right. lol

You got ripped off.
Exactly why you can't trust ANYONE in the Honda community, I don't mean every one is a scammer, and a lier, but you need to treat it as that. There are way to many theives, and liers here.
Take it as a learning lesson, swap the old trans back in. Start looking for a new one, or rebuild it.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking, the old trans is so bad it's not even worth putting it back in, I'm just Gina try to crack open both trannys and swap 4th and 5th from the dx and pit it in the si, joy thx for your input everyone
