Swapped my blown y7 for another y7 now surging?
hey guys have a problem with my engine swap
i blew a rod through my block road racing so i went and bought another y7
my civic is a 99 hatch 5spd
the engine i bought was a 99 a.t engine
i finnished the swap and started it up and it was suring about 500 or 1000rpm then goes into a steady 100 rpm surge (faster suring)
so i looked around, thee a vaccum line fitting thats on the right side rear of the i/m and my old i/m does not have that so i plugged it
still surging then, I unplugged my iacv and the car almost died but went into a steady 1500 rpm idle...
so now i just left it off for about 3 months but the idle is stil at 1500, the gas milage is bad, and the car struggles from a dead stop in normal driving condition.. and when it starts to roll it struggles and struggles till about 2500 rpm and like a switch its back to normal?
any help would be great, id like to get my Civic back

Im guessing replace your Iacv valve, IM TB gaskets, and maybe whatever seals up your injectors. Also check for any other signs of leakages like cracks.
If that doesnt work go to a honda dealer and they will be like its this part... Now give us 500 dollars to fix it with a three month warranty.

well im not really sure about y7 but y8 has different intake manifold between auto and 5 speed so you might want to look more into that....not completely sure but just an idea...
