Default swaping fuel pumps

i got a 93 delsol im putting a bigger pump in do i need to drop the tank to get to the pump or is there a way where i can pull it out from the top?thanks

I shouldn't reply since I don't have a Del, but if you pull all the trunk liners there ia no metel plate of some sort with wire going to it?

no theres not.... i know like in the hatchs and coupes there under the rear seat
