I think with a Helm's manual, you should be able to swap an engine. Its not uncommon for someone to do the work themselves. Just do some research to find out everything you need, and ask someone here if you get into any trouble.

if you dont have a cherry picker you can always just raise the car up and drop the engine out of the bottom too. any problems ask on here. but buy a helms first. good luck

Re: (TeStUdO)
do what I did, I drove my car to the shop pulled the engine that night and set the b16 in place then called around for a ride home....lol when swapping the engine make sure you have done some research about swaps, check out the wiring diagrams, obd year of the motor and go from there. It can be a fun learning experience if you have the right tools and know alot about the motor coming out and the one going in, if you have know Idea about Honda's, the mounting or wiring it can be a painful prolonged experience that will plague you forever. RESEARCH RESEARCH, would you dive headfirst into an empty pool? I didn't think so.............gl

I swapped my engine in my garage as you can see in my avatar. Just take your time don't rush and make sure you ALWAYS factor in some extra money for miscellaneous things.
