Swap start-up problems.....
Ok so I'm here at the end of my first swap (jdm d15b into a VX easy right?) and got everything hooked up, double checked all the hoses and clips were in the right place (I have a few extra clips here and there, but can't find a place for them to plug into). So I go to start it, and it cranks like it want's to start, but then I here a chugging or a knocking kind of noise. I pulled the spark plugs because I forgot to check those, so maybe that could be it. They were fouled with oil so I put new ones in a still it won't start. When I pulled the wire from the number 4 plug..... smoke came out of the valve cover.... not a lot, but little whisps https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emsad.gif. Anyone know what to do? What the root of my problems may be?
I have yet to bleed my clutch so I just let it sit on the floor to try and start it. Anyone have ANY ideas? |
