Swap Problem
I posted this in the Prelude forum but no one has responded so I figured that someone here may have some secondhand knowledge or something about this:
I have a buddy with a 94 Prelude who needs help. He did a swap to a 98 JDM SH engine after he hydrolocked his, and since then, his car idles funny, bouncing from about 800 to up near 2000 in a steady pattern. We tried unhooking the IACV (or whatever plug is at the throttle body) to see if that was the problem but it didn't end up working. Just threw a code and stalled the first time. The only thing that we noticed when it was off was it bogged down to around 600 and didn't goes as high but it still occurred in the same pattern.
Has anyone had any problems like this? Searches on HT have revealed nothing other than vacuum leaks as the sources, but I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this happen and what they did to fix it.

Re: Swap Problem (hatchi)
Looks to me like everything is connected. There's a sensor that they're just running a circuit on with a piece of wire... looks pretty ghetto, but I dunno...
