Swap problem
Im planning on getting a GSR swap but i had originally planned on purchasing the motor from Hmotorsonline for 3200. Now the shop thats doing the install says that I should let them get me the motor from one of their sources in VA (noyan somthing) for 3800 so i wont have to wurry about shipping. That sounds good and all but the only problem is that for 3800 all im getting is the motor, trans and ECU so I would still need to buy all that other things which woul boost the price to 4 grand something, and i still have to pay 1300 for install. With Hmotors online all im going to have to do is buy the SI motor mounts and the OBD2 TO OBD2B wire harness but I will have to get it shipped. I havent heard too many bad things about them so I was wondering if it is worth taking the risk and saving a couple hundred bucks buying from Hmotorsonline.

Re: Swap problem (BLK99VTECR)
tell your shop to **** off
they are "reccomending" another place because they will charge a larger overhead for the engine and missing parts.
buy it form steve @ hmotors.

do a search on whats needed.. takes 1/2 hr,purchase a motor from passwordjdm or hmo or whoever. buy a helms for that motor and install it yourself.. when you take out your stock motor you will know or figure out where everything goes.easy. **** man for $4500 you can get a jdm itr from passwordjdm and have it shipped for under $4300.so do go and give them 3800+1300 for install.. thats way over priced.if your located in wa i'll help you out
