Swap my D6Z6 engine on a 94 Civic EX to a faster one?
Hi forum,
I'm trying to upgade my engine which only has 95K. However, I don't know if I should just get a different type of engine (faster one), rebuild it/upgraded and then take mine out and drop the upgraded one in. If I was going to get a different one, What others can I choose from? I'm just learning about cars and want to make sure the one I get is going to fit. If anyone has any other ideas, let me know. I haven't done any upgrades besides a SAI. Thanks.

1. Search There are infinite threads available on this topic. Look at the sticky FAQ.

2. Why would it need a rebuild with only 95,000 miles? What is wrong with it? Have you done a compression check? Is it consuming oil?
