Icon6 swap help

just bought a civic si .. i wanna take the b16 out and rebuild it cuase i wanna run turbo .. my question is anyone know a cheap motor i can buy to put in it till i get the b16 finished.. and something that i dont have to change alot out to put it in and hook it up....

Ummm, why don't you just keep the car down while your building the engine? If you can't afford to not have the car drivable for the week it takes you to build up the motor you should seriously reconsider your plan of attack.

leave the motor as it is, buy a cheap short block even a bare block and builed up from there, then on to the head and transmission.
i've seen plenty of b16 short block on craigslist even here for under $200.
don't know about you but i don't have the kind of money to do a full rebuild within a month or two...
