Default Swap on EG

Ok here it is... I have a 94 hb DX w/ NO motor and NO engine harness

I am thinking of doing ONE of the Two swaps B16 or GSR

I know what harness for the B16 setup (94-95 Del Slow DOHC VTEC)

I DON'T know what harness for the GSR setup ????

And I DO want to pass Smog,Ref

Most people that I talk to say the GSR swap in a EG easier to get certified than a B16... Why is this?

For the B16 swap, you can use almost any OBD1 wiring harness that had VTEC (ei. 92-95 civic ex/si).

For the GSR swap, you can use the same harness's as above AND wire in a couple things... i forgot what, but i know one would be for the secondary butterflies in the intake manifold.

To pass smog (in CA anyway) you just need a USDM ECU and USDM smog parts (mainly the intake manifold along with other sensors).
