Default Swap is almost done!

I started up my Eg today! Its a 94 CX, I put a 91 B18A1 block and everything else is from a 95 LS, I also swapped out the whole suspension including the springs, rotors, shocks, arms, etc., from the tegs. I still have to connect my o2 sensor (they cut the wires when they took out the engine ), hook up the emergency brake lines and bring it to get the exhaust connected (it was a little short) I can't wait to take her for a ride!

I am having trouble with the temp gauge, it wont work and my fan doesn't turn on, do you guys know which wires I have to use. Please help!

Well I still haven't got my temp gauge working and I have two plugs that aren't connected they're on the back of the block, these wires were cut and I don't know where they go. Other than that She runs like hell!!! I connected the o2 sensor, did the exhaust and connected the e-brake. I still want to cut the rear springs a little more, I cut three coils from them and it's still a little high, I think I'm going to do another half a coil. I did three coils in the front and rides really nice! I was going to get coilovers but she rides so smooth that I'm not going to bother. I'll try to get some pics posted soon. If anyone knows what those rear connectors are please let me know. Thanks

How are you going to work around having an block that's older than your ride? I tried to ref my ride (94 coupe) w/ a 92 LS and they wouldn't pass it.

is your ride strictly track?

The only thing thats 91 is the block its self, everything else is 95. Motor mounts, tranny, ecu, intake, head, shift linkage and the wiring are all from a 95 LS, so it should be smog legal, I hope

I don't mean to be a dick but if the smog ref or smog guy is competent enough. with one look at the block numbers, the game is up. I don't know what's the smog law like in CT but in cali the smog **** will laugh at you for trying to past a 91 block for a 94/95 engine. just my .02

Well we don't have smog test now! They got rid of them about a year ago, they are supposed to get started back up soon but nothing yet. I don't see why it would be a problem. The CPU is what controls the emissions and the B18A1 block and B18B1 block are supposed to be identical, The only difference was in the head and I have a 95 head. Anyways I don't care about smog, she runs like a motherf%$#@@$!
