Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha (Crotch) Muffler on a Civic. Thinking about doing it???????
Has anyone ever seen this done? I was thinking of giving it a shot because i dont like any of the universal mufflers on the market. And alot of the catbacks for that matter. I found one that had a 2 3/8" inlet. Maybe they make them bigger not sure yet? Has this been done by anyone, pictures?, sound? Thanks.
Before you bash...(if you do) settle down i am just thinking out load.

There was a Japanese tuner that used to have a shop in So Cal a looooong time ago named Hideo Tamitaka. He used to use a motorcycle exhaust on some of his customers cars, one of those cars was a friends 90 Civic hatch, with a custom made header, intake, and ECU, it sounded incredibly raspy, but that car couldn't be touched, it was super quick (for that era). He was ahead of his time, as he used to make custom cold air intakes, with a "power chamber" in the engine bay similar to AEM V2's. Also made mufflers out of fire extinguishers . He moved on to head of R&D for Greddy, not sure if he's still there.

Your best bet would be to get one off of a 'busa or a ZX-12. But if I were you, I'd think twice. Just MHO.

I bet that it would sound very similar to the inline four bike that it came off of.
