Ok so I have a 97 coupe and i want to upgrade my suspension, and lower it a little bit. I'm looking at maybe a Tokico HP Springs and shocks combo, or a Eibach Pro-kit. Right now I'm watching a used set of Nuespeed springs on ebay, how high should I go on them? And what shocks should I get to go with the nuespeed springs 1.5 in the rear 1.7 in the front? I don't have a whole lot of money, but I want a smoother ride. Thanks in advance.

springs are cheap enough that I wouldn't buy used... Take a look at h&r springs. They usually go for around $140 a set. Good springs... Good price. Nothing wrong with pro-kits either, but they are usually $190+.
