Default Suspension Tunning gone wrong! need help

hey fellow h-t'ers, i had a big question, i have heard stories about cars and their suspension. Now lets say if someone had a car, and changed the springs only, never touched anything else, would that cause a problem in any way? The reason i ask this broad question is because i saw a 1995 Honda Civic VX for sale, i am waiting until the owner contacts me, but in the pic it seems like it is lowered, now i fear if i buy this something will happen to the car, maybe the allignment, becxause i had a friend who had some wack *** susp job, only eibach springs, about 2-3 yrs later, the tires started to wear out unevenly, the alignment was bad, now please help me in making a right desicion, (Worst ase scenario: the VX for sale...it is dropped) any suggestions?
Thank You
-Areg

just buy the car and get an alignment. any car that is lowered is going to have tire wear due to negative camber.

Should be fine, just get an alignment from a shop that knows what they are doing and maybe a camber kit and you should be fine.

the uneven tire wear most likely came from camber.. its when you lower it too much and the suspension isnt made to be at that height all the time.
they have DIY'ers that can fix this problem.. or you can actually get a 'camber kit' to fix this.. it levels your wheels out

What, you think the car is going to bend in half or something?

Spend the $50 or so and get an alignment. As long as it isn't slammed, tire wear will be pretty normal.

Toe kills tires, not camber. But you can do a SEARCH and find that out.

Levelling out your camber to 0 like a lot of people do is retarded.
