Suspension Techniques
Since the suspension section seems to have low traffic i will pose my question here. mind you im not asking this because im getting ready to buy. im asking for pure info, i don't need advice on purchasing.
I was browsing around looking at the front and rear sway bars. i noticed that they offer 2 packages. 1" front and 3/4" rear, 3/4" front and rear, my question is:
Does the front sway being larger in diameter affect the handling in a positive manner or negative? it seems the 1/4" difference would serve to hurt the handling rather than help. also would having the 1" front and 7/8" be better than say the 3/4 front and rear combo.
thanks.

Define negative and positive?
Having a larger front sway bar will give your car more understeer, but a definite "FWD" feel.
Having a larger rear will make more oversteer (not drastic, your car's not going to drift) ....

It all depends on your driving style.

Exactly. I'm running the 3/4" ST bar in the rear, and no sway in the front. It's working pretty nicely. I have the 1" bar to put up front, I just haven't yet. I got under the car, all ready to put it on, and then I realized that I was missing parts. I called ST, and they Next-Day Air'ed the parts to me. I've been too lazy since then.

haha, well from the looks of things the 3/4 would do better in the front and then like the 7/8 in the rear. i would really like to know what you think about the 1" after you get it on there.
