Suspension Suggestions
I have a 1993 Del Sol Si with stock suspension. I need new springs and shocks.
I am not going to be racing my car.
I am not looking to "slam" it either. I would like the car a bit lower but not more than 2" front and rear. I would like it to have a nose down stance where the front rides a little lower than the rear.
I am not looking for adjustable shocks as this car will never be run on a track. I will drive the streets aggressively and I will be adding a turbo later to get to 175-225 horses.
What do you guys recommend?
What is the best street combo?

Re: Suspension Suggestions
Name brand lowering springs (Eibach sportlines for example) and a nice set of shocks (Koni Sport, Bilstein HD or Sport, KYB AGX, Tokico Illumina).
You want the car to have a rake, but not too many of the lowering springs do that. If you buy the Konis, you can raise the rear circlip to raise the rear slightly, or simply fail to install the front brake line bracket and stuff the shock lower into the fork to drop the front slightly.

Re: Suspension Suggestions
My thought was to buy the Bilstein HD's with the Eibach springs too. But the fact that the nose of the car sticks up some is bothering me. Should I look in to some inexpensive coilovers to allow more rake adjustment? Or is there a particular spring that drops the front more than the rear?

Re: Suspension Suggestions
I just bought h&r sport springs for my del sol. The selling point for me was that they are supposed to drop the front a little more than the back. I am looking for that same stance.

Re: Suspension Suggestions
I know I could do it with coilovers since I would be able to adjust the front lower than the rear.
Are there any good quality coilovers that aren't ridiculously expensive?
